Rachel Lezcano

I am a class coordinator who teaches workforce development, genereal life skills, and technology courses at the Northwest Georgia Regional Dalton-Whitfield County Public library. Originally from Louisville, KY, I graduated from Berea College with a B.A. in Art History and moved to Dalton, GA shortly after obtaining my degree in 2020. My passion as a CREAR Publishing/Writing committee member resides in my interest in community leadership and increasing Latinx authorship. Working as a public servant has affirmed the notion that representation matters and one must work rigorously to make space for Latinx voices in places where we have been historically marginalized.
